I wonder if anybody could tell me how to get rid of the moss,my lawn is covered with moss ,it is at the back of the house where there is loads of shade, would it be because of next door neighbours tree overhang!i cannot cut them as they are to tall.

You need to scarrify with a leaf rake and then apply a moss killer. The moss will turn black as it dies. You also need to fork the lawn to get air into the ground and improve drainage. If ir persists the land drains will be the next step. I would imagine shade from a large tree won't help neither. [IMG]
