    advise on patchy lawn caused by dog urine.thanks carolla

    is the dog yours?, this will be a continual prob if so. But you could buy a patch repair lawn kit from diy stores. Or more grass seed, then remove patches of burnt lawn, replace with some soil to the same height as the lawn and sow seeds, following directions on packet. Place sticks around new patch and then wind string to enclose area from dog and local bird pop. water regularly. If a bitch then you can buy some goo to treat lawn with, can't remember name, but it should be used as often as dog goes wee.......... Alternatively, hose/water area directly after squatter finished, especially in dry weather. Hope this helps.
