    Have you tried blending?
Also a lot of fun,but you need two pics that work together.

    The Druids Path.

This is two hdr and sepia toned pics, blended in layers in PS7

another example of what you can do.
This is me.....self portrait blended with a pic of the inside of my wood burning stove.

    Have fun

Worked very well. I liked the Druids Path best maybe because the tonal range of the two images was similar.

Great pics, especially like the first one (nothing against the self portrait, it's just that I am a sucker for wood trails and red heads :D).
As I said I have only just started to experiment by trial and error after downloading PaintNet practically by mistake (I wanted to download Photoscape and got mixed up with names, help!) and I am not having much time to do that either, but hey, not racing, me. :)

I hope to mess up a bit more in the next days!

My beautiful old friend Darky, who will never be forgotten. May he always ride in a field of gold.

It`s lovely how they look like a "memory" of something, the way we associate one thing with another all on one canvas-photo, because I can see a field of gold Ivory-you are a very clever girl,

"... a "memory" of something, the way we associate one thing with another all on one canvas-photo..."

That is exactly why started mixing up pics, trying to put on "paper" all the different associations I have with an image, trying to render how it FEELS to me rather than just how it looks... even if sometimes one has tomake do,this particular field of gold was a ctually a bed of marigolds, lol.
