My project today was to correct the lean on my composter before it hit the garden side on.
Thought I would explain the days project using pictures.
You know me... never miss the chance to take pictures..
This first pic you can see my concerns.

Next task was to empty the full composter. I was staggered by how much came out of it. Two full pots filled with fully composted stuff and a wheelie bin filled with not quite ready stuff
    [IMG]

    Looks to be good stuff

Plenty of worm activity even in this cold weather

    Base levelled

After refilling, looks better,, job done

A wheelie bin water butt. Like that idea.
Does anybody else have a strange use for a whellie bin I wonder?

Can't be a real gardener Robert. You're wearing gloves :lollol::D

The 'compost end' of your garden looks very like ours and I was mining one of our bins today for compost for a new fruit tree. And yes, I did wear gloves:D

Our 'spare' wheelie bin is used to store glass bottles and jars ready for us to take for recycling.

Yes, we use our's for rubbish :hehe:.

Actually we have one wheelie bin filled with empty, neatly folded compost bags. We used these for putting garden waste in (that we didn't compost) before taking them to the dump. Now the council provide us with bags and then collect them once a fortnight. They are talking about charging us for it in the future :(. Then it will be back to the old system :thumb:. We fill about 30 council bags every fortnight.

I have 3 extra wheelie bins, they changed our system last year and were collecting the old type paper bins for recycling so I obtained 3 which I use for compost mixes.

Quote from Dave "Can't be a real gardener Robert. You're wearing gloves :lollol:[IMG]"
Yes. most times I do now after plunging my hand in the frosty soil to pull a parsnip and getting dirt right up my fingernails.
I can tell you it hurt for a day or two :grn:
