Hi, we got this indoor plant few months back. It is in our living room and we water it when the soil is dry. But don't know why the leaves are turned yellow and dry.. looks like we do not have any luck in indoor plants.

Looks like a Yucca - probably Y. elephantipes.

They love sun, so could be yellowing through lack, and I don;t think you can overdo Yuccas in Full Sun. Even if only for a "recuperation" period. Misting the leaves will help too, house environment tends to be dry air.

Over watering is the usual problem with indoor yuccas.
But they do need strong light Y.elephantipies is the usual one grown as a house plant.

Yuccas are one of the best at putting up with dry air.
