leeks eaten

    I planted some lovely leeks in the allotment yesterday arrived here today and the leaves are all eaten. Would this be pigeons or sparrows as I can't see any slug trails

    Sometimes I feel there are too many on to one up here

    Birds just tend to pull them out the holes, tossing them to one side to die. Rabbits munch chunks out of them, down to ground level.
