lemon verbena

    hello all got 2 plants of lemon verbena [aloisia triphylla] it smells beautiful and i have to have my daily dose but being a gardener i am no cook has anyone got any idea of a good use for it apart from crushing between fingers and smelling i was told it was good for tea but how would you go about that

    Hi Brazil, I use my lemon verbena in cooking, it makes a lovely herb for stuffing inside chicken before roasting. Has a flavour a bit like lime. Also makes nice tea, just a few leaves in a pot/mug and pour on boiling water, add honey to taste. Bon apetit!

    Hi Brazil, forgot to mention, I use the lemon verbena fresh and dried.
