    Hi,

Is Leycesteria formosa Purple Rain a Honeysuckle or is it described like Honeysuckle?

I seem to remember the common name for Leycesteria being Himalayan honeysuckle.

But its not a climber, its an upright shub.

It is in the same family, Caprifoliaceae, but not actually a Lonicera which is Honeysuckle.
