Lichen on ancient apple tree.

    In the orchard, at Trelissick Gardens, Cornwall, I spotted these lichen.
    My first impression was Ramalina siliquosa (sea ivory), which is very common on the sea cliffs in the area, but they DON'T grow on apple trees.
