I'm more a Lidl girl than an Aldi shopper! (Though I've had nice plants from them too.)

Lidl also have gardening stuff on sale. I bought a pair of rachet secateurs for £3.99 and they decent looking trowels for £1.99, also cheapo cloches etc etc.

They had a large crateful of Zonal leaf Geraniums out in the windy forecourt today. They didn't look too happy,

      Poor geraniums.

Our local Morrisons has very large round terracotta pots for £5 each. Maybe they'll crack in a hard frost, but then I've seen expensive ones do that too. Last year I had my big greenhouse tomatoes in approx 35x35x30cm £2 square fake terracotta pots from Morrisons, which worked perfectly. I also recommend B&M if you're into cheap plastic pots!
