Lifting and dividing (?) Pulsatilla

    I have a pulsatilla that is a few years old and reached quite a size. I am seriously considering lifting it and freeing up a space for new planting opportunities and potting it up in the meantime.
    I've thought about trying to divide it at the same time, but the internet seems to give conflicting advice.
    Has anyone had personal experience of doing this and can help please ?
