Just a quicky - what are some interesting and colourful plants that like pots/ containers and will do well in shade? I'd need a few sizes but nothing over say 6'...

A few annual plants can cope with partial shade Fuchias , pansy , bussy lizzie , begonias and give a lot of instant colour.

I have a corner at the bottom of my garden that, due to tree shading, gets virtually no sun at all any time of the day. I'd love to do something with it and cutting down the trees is not an option. Has anyone made good of this situation in their own garden? Care to share your ideas? I was thinking of hanging baskets and planters so that if a plant is unhappy there I can move it.
