lilly pictures

Hi everybody , it`s the time of year for the most beautiful of plants - the lilly.

I thought a thread with lilly pictures on it would be nice. Here is my first asiatic of the year.

 

When are they going to add smell over the internet, it would just revolutionise flower pics. (Except for the hay fever sufferers, maybe an odour volume control?)

 

These are my dad's lillies. Don't know the variety but I think they look the same as yours Pip?

 

What lovely healthy lillies everybody such rich colours, I MUST get more for next year.

These were a bargin, bought 3 years ago from a DIY store, 5 for a tenner. The number has almost trebled. :D

This lillie was a loverly yellow last year, think all this rain washed all the yellow out lol.

This one opened the other day. With all the rain we have had I am suprised that it has bothered at all.

The only good thing about the poor weather is it means the lilly flowers last a lot longer

Another recent bloom,the lack of sunshine is resulting in my blooms coming out one at a time :(
