I moved house last year and was amazed how many plants of Lily of the Valley there was in my "new" garden.
I have replanted some in a shaded part of the garden and they seem happy there.

I gave loads away.... its a thing most of us gardeners do and I honestly thought I had got them all, but I can't seem to remove the plants from a place that they have been happy for a great many years! :(
    Any help guys?

You must dig down deep and make sure that you get all the bits of root out or you'll have them popping up and spreading everywhere. Hubby did one of our beds several years ago and got rid of them there. Just have them in two out-of-the-way places now.

Thanks Kedi-Gato I made the mistake of planting very soon after digging the plants up, I think that is why I am lumbered with them still! Helen.xxx.
