Oh dear! I stained a white t-shirt of mine in the same way. I washed it and it was still stained. The only thing I could think of doing with it was soaking it over night in a bucket of cold water with a bit of bleach added. I then washed it again in the machine the next morning and the stain had come out.

My t-shirt is made of cotton though so I just took a chance. I'm not sure if soaking another type of material in bleach would work. :dunno:

:roflol:.......you could try it but the only thing is if it has a logo on it in a different colour or different colour piping on it somewhere, this will get bleached white as well.

Maybe someone else will have a better idea :ideaIPB:

That Vanish Oxi-Action stuff is good at shifting stains - you need to mix a scoop of it with tepid water (one part vanish to three parts tepid water), then rub onto the stain; leave it for ten minutes and then bung it in the wash :)

@Spruce , thank you for putting up this thread. I love the lilies, especially Stargazers but this pollen is a nightmare isn't it. I will be interested to know whether members' tips work for you,
        Jenny

Hi Spruce - that is something I think we have all experienced and it is so annoying. I know you say you have already washed it but just looked on the web see below -

You can remove lily pollen stains from your clothes using a freezer. Place the cloth in the freezer for sometime before trying to remove it. Use a toothbrush to brush off the pollen or use a tape to pick the pollen grains. Use laundry pretreater and oxiclean to remove the remaining stain.
