Lion Embrace..

    Did you see the fabulous mooving lion embrace on the TV news?

    Apparently this lady saved the lion from a life of cruelty and starvation from a Columbian circus,she has an animal refuge.

    I had never seen what appeared to be such a genuine show of affection from such a wild animal.

    That shows an awful lot of trust and cinfidence, Roders! On both sides.......

    Androcles and the lion springs to mind...... hard to believe that these stories really happen, but I guess they do sometimes. :D

    Hello, my dearest ... he's just a big pussy cat.

    This brings back fond memories of the affection from the lions in Born Free.

    PS I should have said here too that I do find it an incredible and moving photo. I'm a staunch supporter for all and anything to do with cats, large or small. Thanks for sharing the photo, roders.

    I just saw this on Sky News 7 Days and it was absolutely beautiful to watch it live! But it was all too quick to capture the moment above, which is priceless.
