Last year I planted a couple of Incarvillea, 1 white and 1 pink, and they flowered beautifully. This year 1 lot has flowered and is setting seed, the other collapsed and became limp after producing a few flowers. Has anyone any advice, please?

Liz, gardening is an unpredictable science. You can take 2 cuttings from the same plant, at the same time, put them in the same pot, in the same compost. They will root and grow at the same time. Then you plant them out. They can be side by side in the same border, only inches apart, but one plant will thrive while the other fails. All because the condition/nutrient level/moisture content is slightly off. It`s what gives us all the challenge of gardening. P`ing down here now.:D:D:D:dbgrtmb:
