I'm annoyed that my lobelia is starting to rot,we've have had such heavy downpours consistantly, that the plants are suffering especially the busy lizzies & lobelia, anyone else have this problem??

Also i've just updated in the container section of my pots & baskets, just over 2 weeks to judging ... feedback would be good please :)

    Thanks. :)

I don't have any rotting that I know of, however I am really worried about my three troughs of petunias on the driveway. After all that heavy rain the other week, I tipped them over to drain them as they were literally swimming; I've not watered them since, and we've had a few warmish days, although also some showers - I am hoping they will dry out enough soon.

They seem to be OK as they are flowering well.

I do sympathise with people suffering with all this rain we've been having. Up to now I havn't had too much trouble, but the roses are very heavy headed with all the rain and there's an army of slugs every night. One minute we are all discussing drought tolerant plants then the next . . .
Here's hoping July and August are better  And good luck Sweet pea.:spinning:

Best of it is, I am still living in an area where there is a hosepipe ban!

I was so annoyed, I sent the water company an email - not that it got me anywhere. I live within half a mile of a number of massive Thames Water reservoirs, and my water must come from them I am so close - Thames were one of those that lifted the ban, yet because my bills come from Veolia, I still can't use my hose.
