Thats amazing, you must have had some serious frost to be able to walk on water.

Do you have a picture of your pond before the freeze to compare, I presume the ice mountain is a fountain?

There's a thread in the water gardening section; something like "Goodbye grass, Hello pond" or something like that, which shows the pond minus ice. :)

I put 4 fountains into the back pond before the start of the Big Freeze at the beginning of December in order to stop the pond freezing over completely and bursting the boundary walls of the pond. The back pond is 90 feet long and 30 feet wide at its widest point. The front ponds are small and made from cattle water troughs containing 500 litres of water. They're solid ice now.

The back pond now contains a lot of ice but we still have 3 small ice free areas to combat expansion. (The pond is made of concrete, impregnated with glass fibres and waterproofer.)

We've had sub-zero temperatures most of the time since the beginning of December. It was -12° this morning but it feels positively balmy at the moment as it has risen to -2: no doubt, that'll drop during the night but we're due a thaw tomorrow for a day or two.
