                          Bengal Crimson (a rose), Pride of Madeira (Echium candicans) and the Shirley poppy (papaver rhoeas). Shirley is not that far away from me in S London; it used to have a Shirley Poppy pub, now alas a Macdonald's. The poppies had been bred by a local vicar, the Revd William Wilks.

                            Atlas cedar, can I get away with that, from the Atlas mountains, Monterey pine, Pondarosa pine might be pushing it a bit.:biggrin:
