Hi everyone, the leaves on my magnolia tree are turning brown and falling off, can anyone advise me what to do?

Hi Nettie, first question to ask in this very hot weather- is it in full sun, and is it in a container? If either of these, first check for dryness. Even if it's in the ground, check it's had enough water. This is such a pretty magnolia, like a pink stellata. How old is it? They will normally tolerate full sun but if it's young it's more vulnerable.
If it is dry, try putting a mulch [or even pebbles] round it to conserve moisture and water it frequently.
