Is it possible to have a separate section for us London gardeners? i.e those of us with limited space, access to garden centres, poor soil and pollution problems etc?

    Hi Amanda
unfortunately there are gardens all over the country that are as you describe, BUT now you are signed in to GC I am sure you will get all the advice and inspiration you need and before you know it you will have a little show garden!

Hi Amanda - London is good gardening territory. The pollution keeps the pests down, and you got Kew, Chelsea, Hampton Court for inspiration on all you can achieve in the smallest of spaces [IMG] My first garden was just 10' by 3'

Its more the climate that makes the difference in gardening e.g. temperature, wind, rain light etc.

    Hi Amanda,
I'm a London gardener, I have a balcony, quite a big one I admit but it is on the 7th floor over looking the Thames therefore windy and wet. I have had a huge amount of help from so many people within this Forum and what I've found is that apart from the fact that I cant have as many varieties as others who have gardens ie trees and large shrubs, my problems are the same.
Where are you and how much room have you got. I might be able to point you in the direction of some good garden centres.
