Look what I found.

    On our usual walk around the park today I came across the gardeners yard and this is what I found.

    now thats what I call a pile of leaves:D

    Looks like theyv'e had a delivery of our green bin compost.

    and behind that I found this

    I wonder who lives there?

    Where some houses back onto the park there is an apple tree, so I brought home some
    of these

    I reckon its apple pie for afters tomorrow.:yho:

    Heres the end result. The pastery could have done with being a bit thicker. Not bad seeing as I haven't baked one for 20 years!!:wink:

    It's the cinnamon thats made the apples look a bit brown but it adds to the flavour.:thumb:

    I only use a basic pastry recipie. What pastry recipie do you use? I would be interested in trying a few. Cheers. 02
