Look what I've found!

Getting ready for a boot sale, my other half retrieved boxes from the loft to sort through, look what I found. It was bought for me by my parents when learning shorthand and typing at school and is now over forty years old.

I cleaned it up and didn't think for one minute the ribbon would be any good, it wasn't. Not giving up, I unreeled it soaked and dried it, then put it back. Bingo! It still works.

I'm way off sixty words a minute though!

 

Where is the slot for the floppy discs and C.D.s ? ? ?

 

I had one very similar!! a Remington and mine was also bought for me by my parents!! I only finally got rid of it a few weeks ago when I moved house!!
