    No it's false widow! and there bite is very painful there nasty blighter's especially if you carelessly place your hand into a pot...

    Nooo and we get really big ones appear in our house too [shiver] I hope they don't bite *definately need a scared smiley!*

    ALL spiders bite Dizi, but compared to the thousands of species very few can penetrate our skin.
    I love them but depends what they are served up with.:D

    your right on both counts its a false black widow and yep its painfull lol but if it stings bites creeps and crawls i cant resist them im what ever oppisite to a aracnaphobic is and just cant help picking up anything like them guess i tad wierd lol:D

    I used to keep Bird Eating spiders(Tarantulas) before I was married along with the Lizards, Geckos, Pythons and Tree frogs, strange that I don't have them now! just the Fire Bellied Toads.

    Now spiders can be your best friend in the garden and greenhouse just leave them alone.

    well these are relativley small to some of the spiders we have in our garden i once found a wolf spider which was roughly 10cm big it soon found the bottom of a brick
