Nice to see you back @bexy13 - and your veggies are very impressive! I never seem to have much luck with courgettes, no idea why.

My sweetcorn has gone absolutely bananas - - a variety called 'minipop' which would have you believe they were small.......

And yes, that is a 7ft fence behind them......

Welcome back. Everything looks good. :blue thumb:

It looks as though your onions may be getting scapes on them (the tops start to bulge and form flowers) and it's best to cut those tops off. :)

            Hi FC,
I've just had a look for you and the "mini" in "minipop" doesn't refer to the plants at all, it refers to the fact that they have miniature cobs, like the baby sweetcorn you can buy.
The plants generally grow 7 to 8 ft high and you can gave upto 10 cobs off each plant.

That will teach me not to buy on impulse then

Ah well, Mrs C and Little C love sweetcorn, and it freezes well, so its all good :)

@bexy13 - I hadn't a clue what scapes were until a few weeks ago. I think that is the plant about to bolt, but wait for advice from someone who knows what they are talking about before considering anything.

Taking them off helps to stop the plant from 'bolting', so it doesn't affect the growth and can only improve it.
