We have come across a plant which appears to suit a situation in our garden. It is labelled in the Garden Centre as Lophomyrtis (sic) "Little Star". I imagine it must be Lophomyrtus - but what sort?? Information about Lophomyrtus is more or less non-existent (including the RHS site). Zip file with two images (in poor light without flash) attached - the leaves are about half an inch long at most - tiny and pink-rimmed. Can anybody expand on the little information we have please?

If you Google Lophomyrtus there is a lot of information on the plant, including growing information. Cannot help with practical experience as reading the stuff, it would probably not survive in our garden so we have never bothered trying to find it.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't Google but I did search in Yahoo! (I have used it since before Google existed and they always seem to give much the same stuff). I will give Google a shot and see.
Is your garden very cold? Why would it not survive? (Is "Palustris" a clue to a boggy site?)

Our garden is very cold, many things which survive elsewhere, just freeze here.
