    Hi all,

I have a few pics I'd like to identify after investigating my garden!

I found these growing under the fairly large Pine tree in the far right hand corner of our garden (pic below of the tree)..... there are loads! I thought it was over grown grass at first, until I pulled one up and found this:

My nan thought it was garlic, and it does smell like garlic, but I think it could be a Spring Onion?

The next one to ID is poking through a grass ridden flower bed:

This one has changed colour from green to reddy brown:

This tree is obviously a Pine of some sort, and I apologise about the bad full length pic - but as you can hopefully see the branches do not start until half way up the tree, with no visible signs of pruning:

I hope they all upload ok - and that I haven't clogged up the boards with this many pictures!

Any thoughts would be great [IMG]

:D The only reason I asked is because I thought it was waaay to early for spring onions! And it does look like some pictures of garlic I have seen on the net...... I thought it might be under developed or something! :heehee:

Thank you all for your replies, I have searched for the Madonna Lily and it is lovely! I can't wait to see if it survives and flowers!

With regards to the Spring Onions, how do I know when they are ready to eat?? They are quite thin at the moment.... I'm not a spring onion lover to be honest but hubs loves them.

They could be Japanese bunching onions rather than true jibbons, ( sorry, spring onions ) lol
