This is a lovely tree but is planted touching the one next to it, trunk to trunk!! Unfortunately I will need to get rid of one, which will be a difficult choice, if I get the choice!
    What tree is it please?

:ThankYou: It's a lovely tree, I need to move one that is sharing the same space, just hope it doesn't upset it.

        Keep Acer shirasawanum Aureum.
It is very slow. Obviously happy where it is.
Other one can be easily replaces... cheaply.

Do nothing till leaves are all gone.
If they don't separate easily cut 2nd Acer down to a stump.
