    Hi everyone,

just been down to my local continental supermarket,( not sure if i'm allowed to put the name on here, but its the with 4 letters in it name and begins with A!!!) :D

Anyway, I bought myself a spotting telescope, ideal for nature watching, for the brilliant price of £24.99!

I've just been having a little play with it and I must say i think it must be the bargain of the year. It easily compares to 1 my dad owns that cost 5 times as much. It comes with a small table top tripod and a carry case.

jsut thought i'd give anyone else interested the chance to get one, but be quick, I got the last one from my local store and that was 15 minutes after it opened!!!

Looks great! And did you know that details of their offers are available in advance on their website? (www.aldi.co.uk)- as well as the offers at Lidl, who often have similar stuff (www.lidl.co.uk). In fact most supermarkets seem to publicise things in advance so if you keep an eye on their websites you can make sure you're at the head of the queue.... (Oops...sorry if I'm not supposed to give the names, but I know these two have good sites, and I'm sure the other big supermarkets do too!!)

I thought, if it's that cheap it can't be any good but some folk in the RSPB centre here this afternoon were saying how good they were, and they sell their own scopes.
