    Hey everyone!

I'm looking for ideas for a few pots to put in my front garden to make it look more aesthetically pleasing.

I'd love a bit of colour, so some type of flower, maybe some bush/shrubs that last whilst the flowers come and go. But everything needs to be low maintenance, easy to grow/keep as I'm not very good with flowers!!

    Thank you :)

I have two sets of containers for my front steps, in the winter I have polyanthus, pansies and bulbs. Then for the summer I swap for containers full of bedding plants, this year I have begonias and sunpatiens (busy lizzies on steroids!). That way I hardly have any gap between flowering, but it does mean you need somewhere to store your second container set in the sunshine whilst it grows.

I've got containers with dwarf Iris (Reticulata/Danfordiae types), mini Narcissus ( Tête a Tête and Rip van Winkle are good ones ) which are followed by Muscari ( Grape Hyacinth ) then Saxifrage London Pride.
These are all planted over hardy Fuchsias which then flower till oct/Nov.

This way the pots stay interesting all year round as the Saxifrage are evergreen and the bulbs start flowering in late January.

PS....... This way as well, once the pot is planted up, that's it, it's not got to be changed again.
