    Anyone growing/grown Luzuriaga radicans?

I am rather taken with it, but CGF says "Long service medal for remaining unsold on the nursery" :heehee: and, needless to say!, no "Bob's Score"

"This exquisite Chilean evergreen climber is a relative of the lovely lapageria. Sprays of delicate, lemon-perfumed, water-lily-like, ivory white flowers are produced. Finally, clusters of large, bright red, cherry-like berries remain. An absolute gem."

Are you thinking of the Bomarea from a separate thread Victoria?

I read differing levels of exciting / "Marketing"!! on various sites

"This exquisite Chilean evergreen climber is a relative of the lovely lapageria. Sprays of delicate, lemon-perfumed, water-lily-like, ivory white flowers are produced. Finally, clusters of large, bright red, cherry-like berries remain. An absolute gem."

    Crug-Farm
"This may technically be a creeping shrub, but we value it for its small scaly evergreen leaves similar in shape to a butcher's broom, arising from slowly creeping stems. If placed on raised ground the pendant white starry flowers are more easily admired as well as the resulting orange fruit. Best grown in sheltered moist shade."

    Chiltern Seeds
"This is a most beautiful Chilean climbing plant possibly hardy in the warmer parts of the country but making a splendid addition to the conservatory where it can be duly admired. With small evergreen leaves, it bears eye-catching, dainty white flowers which light up the plant star-like. The attractive, bright red, cherry-like berries remain on the plant for some time adding to its display."

    Edrom Nursery
"An easy to grow little evergreen perennial from Chile. Rich green foliage makes mats of growth to around 15 cms high or so and spreads by means of rhizomes. Not an invasive plant but fairly vigorous in the right conditions and ideal for 'greening up' darker wooded areas. Flowers are around 2 cms wide and creamy white like large buttercups."

Kristen - interesting to see several different descriptions side by side.

Victoria - we are all a bit confused. If I wasn't I would be a banker and robbing all of you left right and centre.

Check this page out Kristen - always good info on this site for anything Chilean. I've a feeling that seed needs to be fresh.............

Alternatively, plants are available at the bottom of this page from Crug Farm.
