    Not exactly a PC problem...
I have recently moved away from windows and gone onto a 17" Macbook pro.
I was just wondering if any other members use macs and maybe we can use this thread as a hints and tips section.
I have to admit the apple way is so different for the MS O/S.
Its a steep learning curve and requires me to do some book learning.
I can tell you one thing Im sure glad I make the switch.

I moved from Mac to MS and that was a really steep curve, mind you that was about 15 years ago when the Apple interface was vastly more intuitive than the then Windoze.

I still have Windows PCs. Vista and 7, but so far I much prefer the mac by a long way.

I use all sorts in my work. I do love the track pad gestures on a Mac though. Learn what they are and customise them in: Apple logo in top left -> System Preferences -> Trackpad.

I use the following a lot:
    • Swipe between pages, set to 3 fingers. Lets me go back to the previous page when web browsing quickly (or lazy you might say, not wanting to move over to the back button every time
    • Mission control, swipe up with 3 fingers. I do find finding windows a pain sometimes, this just shows them all, click on the one I want!
    • Show desktop, spread thumb and 3 fingers. Easy than minimizing everything one window at a time! ;)
I know other computers have similar, they don't quite match the choice or work as well though I think!
