After being in Hospital and Sat Around the House under Gails Feet the last Few Wik Bord out My Brains I Wanted to do Something Anything to be Fair after Sleeping Like a Dead Dog Due to Tablets Decided to make a Start on Arbor
Well that's wot i am calling it

With a Difference of Course My Mate Layd the Footings For Me So Got Him Down to Mix the Compo and load out the bricks to Make a Start

Mum Just Giving it my best Shot started off building a wishing well then built a folly but the roof on the well spoiled our view and the look of the folly which was a after thought serious so i salvaged all the roof tiles off the well and saved them again for this last project & turnd the well in to a small pool Iv got some nice bits to Add in this Project Thanks to Zigs Off Here I'm Going to put a Fire Place in there a Corbel in the Front to mount a small plant pot on and finsh it with a Victorian min ton tiled floor if i can??? Never Layd a Tile in my Life Let a Lone a Min ton Floor Good Challenge iv got to grind and re dress every single Pice Before i can lay it few hours of dusty work there

You've had a difficult life Nick and you have a great wife beside you, she wants you around for a good few years yet, so take it easy, for her if not yourself!

 

FM: my mother was told she would never walk again without the aid of a whale bone corset (and a plethora of drugs!); crack in the spine. Now, she was a determined (aka stubborn?) Yorkshire woman, with 5 youngish kids to bring up. Did she take any notice of her prognosis? Did she hell as like!!!!

She did what she could; she did what she desired to do; she wouldn't take a "bed rest" approach to her condition. She knew she had one life and one chance to do what she set out to do.

Now, I'm not saying being a stubborn, Yorkshire woman is the answer to all ills! What I *am* saying is this: follow your heart/determination; you will know when enough is enough. Just so long as you *listen* and don't turn a deaf ear!! Listen to your body and take its cue

wow , really sad story , I always love to read your post because your English is worst then mine , sorry just try to be sargastic .
Like you, I use my hands to work , I`m a joiner , never had an easy life myself and all the life situation have took me to England from Italy , don`t allow this situation to drag you down again , you may not be able to hard graft the old way , there are people that will pay you for your experience , learn how to be a cad craftman , project manager site manager and so on.
