    It is just over a year since my O.H. died, and in that time I have thought about getting a dog several times, I have always had dogs around me, as a child, as a young adult with a family, then when I re-married Chris was a registered Greyhound trainer.
    So what sort of dog,,,nothing that comes below my knee, Spaniels I recall ,Rusty, Bonzo and Pip. Rough Collies, Lassie, Ben x2 . German Shepherd, Chloe, and numerous Greyhounds, I recall all their racing names and also their 'kennel" name.

    So down to Dogs Trust to have a look around and I would like to introduce you all to "Maddie"

    We will be introducing her to my neighbours "Yorkiepoo" tomorrow, to see how the react to each other, and all being well she will be in residence by the end of next week.

                          The socialising went ok so it`s moving along nicely, fingers crossed, home check for me tomorrow, Maddie has to see the vet, I could have had her Wednesday, but I have an appointment Thursday, so leave it until Friday as I would not want to leave her alone straight away. :hapfeet:
