Madeline and Pia - Rosie mongrel replicas!

My doglies at christmas and one on a walkie the other day. :D

Golden retriever cross collie sisters.
When we heard the mix before seeing them, mum was aiming for sleek collie build, intelligent and golden with the nature of retrievers...

We got big, black and stupid. Twice. But we adore them with all our hearts. It kills me sometimes that i don't live with them any more. :(

Its a very odd thing, Pia has a real thing for clothes. She usually wears a bandana, shes been known to wriggle into a jumper before, and she willingly wears hats and scarves. This the donkey hat which was her christmas present, i mean, look at the grin!

 

OMG - Pia is a Rosie lookalike. Is she black all over? she even has the brown fuzzy bits on her front legs that Rosie has as well! They are beautiful doglets. I don't know what Rosie is (she's from Battersea), I always thought she might be a collie spaniel cross. She weighs 25 kilos - how big are your two? Rosie would like me to add that she is very clever - she knows lots of tricks and learns new ones really easily.

 

Well they're pretty stonky, full size retriever size I reckon! Madeline can learn stuff really quickly, i used to do heelwork to music with her, and knows some brilliant tricks, she also watches the tv. So her best trick is "Ben Fogle" - she runs to the tv.

Pia has grasped "be black!"

 

Sounds as though all the collie brains got poured into Madeline, and Pia got what was left!!

 

I think Pia has acorns...
