Maggots

Hi. can anyone help please????
I am getting maggots in my veg just under the soil. I have radishs,lettuces, beetroot and carrots. The carrots are just been seeded. But i seem to get a lot of maggots and they seem to like eating my radishes.
How do i stop this little pests from getting there and eating my veg?

Can you tell us what the maggots look like, please? And are the same ones attacking the lettuce, the beetroots and the radishes?

 

Hi folks. I'd also like to know the answer on this one. My beetroot and lettuces (seedings) have suffered some sort of attack, they just seem to die off or disappear altogether. I DID find one or two what LOOK like chaffer grubs, (pale cream-ish colour ?) but haven't seen any more than that. Cheers...freddy.

 

MPS are they maggots or grubs, what size are they, have you a picture need a bit more information then we can help.

 

I guess it will remain a mystery
