    I notice I wrote a similar missive three years ago!

    You helped Susan survive then. Can you please help again?

    Susan has been wilting. See attached. The root was full of hideous tunnels (ants probably) and was pot bound. We've knocked off all the soil and reportted in ericaceous compost.

    It's not looking good.

    Any advice?

    Apart from keeping it in a shady, sheltered spot and ensuring the compost is kept just moist but not sodden, there's nothing else you can do. Don't be tempted to feed it until/unless she shows signs of new growth. The compost should contain enough fertiliser for about 6 weeks.
