Magnolia tree

    Only half my magnolia tree flowers....it is quite an established tree as it was here when I moved in. It has like fur growing on all the branches and buds.....friends have said its got a fungus disease are they correct? And how do I treat it?

    I recently moved to a new home which has a magnolia tree but only half of the tree has flowered the hole tree has like fur on it......friends have said that its got a fungus disease, are they correct and how do I treat it??

      Just had a look at my magnolia and all the buds both flower and leaf buds have a furry texture to them.
      Could the magnolia be grafted and the non flowering half be growing from the rootstock?

        Hi, the white flowers are falling off and are being replaced but lovely green leaves but there is still nothing appearing on the other side of the tree......please help

        Scale is an infestation. I don't know how to get rid. I lost my beautiful Susan magnolia. The arborist I broughtin cinfirmed that it was a goner.
