    I've decided to go wireless charging for the 'phone and ear buds. I notice that Apple have come up with a cracking idea when it comes to wireless charging - the wireless pad attaches to the back of the iphone using magnets.

    Let's see how this new and innovative approach is different from the more common usb plug in method for charging.

    MAGSAFE:

    - pick up 'phone;
    - attach magsafe charger to back of 'phone;
    - place 'phone down;
    - 'phone charges;
    - pick up 'phone;
    - remove magsafe charger cable;
    - away you go.

    USB:

    - pick up 'phone;
    - plug usb charger into base of 'phone;
    - place 'phone down;
    - 'phone charges;
    - pick up 'phone;
    - remove usb charger cable;
    - away you go.

    As far as I can see - there is no real benefit to the whizzo new magsafe method. Or am I missing the point somehow?

    I think I'll stick with 'normal' wireless:

    - place 'phone on wireless charger;
    - 'phone charges;
    - pick up 'phone;
    - away you go.
