Mahonia Bush She never fails

    to pruduce a big show of flowers.
    She is now 17 yrs old planted her as a small shrub when we built our house.

    Isnt she gorgeous [​IMG] Mines in full swing too - I just love that yellow haze up the top of the garden at this time of year [​IMG]

    That's one of the few plants I was sorry to leave when we moved last year - that ans the corkscrew hazel, both 14 years old and fantastic! The mahonia looks lovely, Scotkat! Such a glow of yellow, and it lasts right through winter - fantastic! :D

    Scotkat,what variety is yours?We used to own "Charity" at our old house and the smell was divine :D :D

    Sorry Mrs K I am not sure of her variety,but so pleased with with the pleasure she gives at this time of the year and I have to say this is her 2nd bloom and early she bloomed in the spring for some time.

    Marge ye they give such wonderful performance of yellow haze.

    And Francis yes I am sure you were saddened to leave such a specimen when you moved.

    The Birds get a good feast all winter plenty berries for them.
