Has anyone bought plug plants from The Daily Mail garden shop ? How did you rate them?
I think a lot of these sites are J Parkers with a different web shop front ,but the Daily Mail site is free P and P .

      Hi H

Am I reading with the begonia tubers that you dont want to grow them till later in the year , as you will need to plant them now as they wont keep or maybe I have just read it wrong?

I bought Hellebores from them a couple of years ago, they arrived as expected and have established OK. I would use them again.

I have bought lots of plants from most of them over the years - especially if there are decent offers - the plugs do tend to be smaller (compared to those I grow myself now from seed) but generally healthy - and if any are bad quality they do replace. The best results I had were the spring flowering prims etc - can be potted up and overwintered successfully.

But I cannot resist getting something from them I am waiting for trailing begonia seedlings (which will be small tubers next year I think) and chrysanthemums - due for delivery Early-Mid April - next year I will try sowing begonias though - but still love browsing the sites/catalogues.

Spruce , I was contemplating trying to store them for a year. But I'll plant them up now, later in April. That is when I can eventually move some trays into the GH to make some room !
I'll order the petunia wave union jack plugs on T and M, with the begonia tubers today.
