I am a member of an allotment association and we are in talks with our local council about maintaining road/path on the allotment. Some of our diabled members currently cannot reach their own plot because of the state of the paths. But to date we seem to have met a stone wall for any official help. Has any other allotment holders the same problem we have, and has anybody any advice on our way forward.

ours should be done by the council, but for the last 2 years we have lost our acsses because of building work.
so its been left to us to sort it out(and they still put up the rent)
oh and now the sheds are getting broke into!
we have just got a new steward, so we will see if he can get any further with the council [IMG]
