    I spent an enjoyable week in Marrakech last year.

    One of the botanical highlights is Majorelle Gardens, create by Jacques Majorelle, a French artist and currently owned by Yves Saint-Laurent. We enjoyed the garden so much we visited it twice during the week.

    Well worth a visit!

    Very impressive Gaz, I haven't been to Morocco yet! but it, like a lot of other places, is on the list.
    I presume the Phoenix are Dactylifera judging by the silvery grey fronds, I always look at them as I think the mature ones are so stately.
    The cactii look good too. [​IMG]

    They may well have been Dactylifera although the colouing may be a trick of the intense light, as i didnt get close enough for a positive ID im not sure.

    Marrakech is well worth a trip, we went over on an easyjet ticket so got a good deal. I'll sort out afew more pics and post them up.
