    Hi,
I was sorting the mother in law's garden yesterday and she had a chimney pot with some pointy leaves in it, almost pampas like but not at all rigid. Underneath there were some ribosome looking structures.
She said there was a plant in it that had lovely white flowers that grew up on poles and had a photograph of them. She doesn't think it is the same plant but it looks to established to have been a weed.
Any ideas what this is so I can try and get it going again for her.
Father in law was proud of it as noone else had one which probably meant he brought it back from holiday somewhere (mostly Egypt and Turkey).

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers
    David
