What ARE you wearing, Garden Sponge?!!!

I don't own a Mantis, but I've used one, and none of the people I worked with rated it - too cumbersome. Don't know of a better alternative off-hand, though - I leave that sort of stuff to bigger, stronger people! :D

SCRUB THAT!!! I've jsut looked for details on it, and I must have got it mixed up with another one - can't think what one, though! Even I am strong enough to cope with that!!

Dave's Garden gives it a good report!

Being only 5'2" I could do with 8'long arms :D :D but will have to make do with my small petrol hedgetrimmer for now.
Thanks for that Jimbo I presume the machine is up for a large workload if you use it professionally, which is why its of interest to me too.

I have one, had it about five years, got it when my back started to get bad.
Its not a heavy weight machine by any means and, I would say, not suitable for breaking new ground. But it does turn my heavy clay soil into a very fine tilth easily and with less effort than by normal means.
I think the motor seems pretty reliable.
I dont have any of the attachments so cant comment on them.

Something went wrong there, but as I was saying, I have just bought a Mantis and am really looking forward to using it. David.
