    Good morning to all, i have some grass cuttings that have composted down and im wanting to know is it too late to dig this into the ground as its been so wet i havent been able to get on the plot as yet and probably wont for another 2wks. Any info would be gratefully appreciated ... regards Chris

    Hi Chris,

    No it's not. I only emptied my compost bin onto the raised veg beds on Friday.

      Hi Rusty thanks, great news i can crack on doing that next.Is it ok to put the chicken/ manure pellets on as well and rotavate them in ? ... Chris

      Chicken manure pellets need to go on a couple of weeks before planting I think.

        Ive just had a thought the compost that i have is all grass cuttings no other ingredients is this still ok to use or would it possibly be too acidic ?Sorry for asking about an old subject just me double checking as i wouldnt want to use it then find out its not good. ..... regards Chris

          If it's well rotted down then it will do a lot of good, not too late either.
