    Well, I had intended it mostly in the sense of "nature awakening after winter sleep" (plants animals and so on), but since the title is only "awakening", I guess it is a broader theme than that, and open to all kind of different interpretations. :)

    Victoria - that is a classic photo and IMHO probably one of the best, among many excellent ones, that you've posted. Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thank you Dave ... that's quite an honour. :ntwrth:

    It's strange, I can probably count on one hand the sunrises I've seen in the past eight years, but I couldn't sleep so got the Kodak and went up on deck and aimed straight at the sun, only took three pics. I almost scrapped them because I didn't think much of them but thought this one had an eery appeal. :)

    Off topic ... this is the second time I've achieved a 10,000 count post! :yho:

    I was at my parent's in Italy fora couple of days and I FORGOT MY CAMERA!!!! (head explodes) Carpets of violets! Daffodils and hyacints and primulas! hell, I still have snowdrops here!

Everybody is getting so clever at this.:cl-p: Can you believe I still have n't made my mind up on which camera I want (Criissie Pezzie from Mr 02) Im so indecisive.:scratch: These fantastic pics have made me want to get my finger out.     Well I have gone and entered, could have chosen a better month taking into account how brilliant everyones pics are, but hey ho, in for a penny in for a pound.
