Glad to see you posting again Marley, a little bit of gardening especially under cover can be therapeutic when health is under par.

Your tunnel is nice and tidy and producing well.

      Steve...:)

Thanks everyone good to be back again.. @HarryS this is where I got the idea for the keyhole bed.. I am just trying it to see at the moment but should be promising and good I think.. Sometimes it is very hard to keep all the veg well watered so if this works then great.. I shall build more and some bigger and deeper as well..
This would be good for any of us I think and especially in hot dry areas.. Becoming popular in the US..

When the Asparus comes through I want to plant some French beans in between too.. ;)

A quick update, everything is growing well, hoping to plant my potatoes later as well although not in the tunnel they are outside the other end of the tunnel..

The Asparagus is settling in as the first few spear have started appearing..

Broad beans coming along very nicely as are the onions and shallots..

Well I got a couple of rows of carrots and one of beetroot in today and 2/3 of my potatoes planted.. I plant them in containers outside the other end of the tunnel. Nice and sheltered there.. So all coming together nicely.. Thank goodness..

Update on the beans and onions.. The beans are heavy with flowers this year so hopeful of a good crop again...

Well time I did an update.. All my broad beans are either podded and frozen or eaten fresh which was a lot, but I have podded and frozen slightly under 8lbs of broad beans..
                          Shallots picked and almost dry.
Onions about to be pulled and dried..
                          Carrots growing well
                          Harvesting dwarf french beans
                          Fresh oregano
                          Fresh thyme..

Had to pull the spinach as it had finally bolted

Got to finish clearing and weeding now and get the ground ready for purple sprouting etc later..

My keyhole garden seems to be doing well too, The Asparagus seems to love it..

Spent some very valuable time in my poly tunnel today weeding beans and shallots and pulled up the last of the purple sprouting..
Had the best crop to date with that, I prepared the soil with seaweed and organic well rotted real chicken poo earlier and it paid off by the crop I had.. Started picking the first few florets late December and today I picked the last just over a lb in weight today.. will get the ground dug over tomorrow..

The shallots and these beans have been slow due to the cold weather, but picking up fast now..

Planted these in the tunnel at the end of November same time as I planted the raised beds outside.. These are about 15” so far, outside ones about 12”. Will get some pics tomorrow.. They did suffer with the snow and easterly Siberian winds even with protection but all picking up well now..
