:) This is a sneak preview of t'other half's little girl we brought home two hours ago ....

These photos were taken a week ago when they were 3 1/2 weeks old. They were on a Portuguese forum of which t'other half is a member and she melted his heart. Turns out the people live 10 minutes from us ..... fate or what?

The story is that the husband went to take some rubbish out and found these five all stuffed into one plastic sandwich bag just having been born stuffed between a couple of rocks next to the bins  ... memories of how we found Cal and Candi flooded back. :(

So far Cal can't take his eyes off her but hisses and Boo has actually sniffed her from one end to the other (hrrrmm) but has not hissed ... a big plus as he is Alpha Cat. :thmb:

She's sleeping at the moment ... tough leaving her siblings and having to go in a car for the first time .... a bit of a trauma as she wimpered all way ... may be a convertible but it's air conditioned so she was comfortable on the short journey.

Will update over the weekend as I get some of my own photos. k-l

Vicky - what an absolutely lovely little kitten. Makes me quite envious as I lost
my dear Sophie several years ago and would love to have another cat (sigh)
but not very practical as other half is very unsteady on his feet and would
be sure to fall over if the cat got in his way.

Please post some more pics - and keep us updated:luv:

:D Awww Vicky soo cute..!!! Gosh I remember all the scratches & nips from our old cat when he first came home..!! Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth... Would sit there purring on your lap & everyone thought ooh how cute...!! Then all of a sudden he would leap up & grab you with all claws & sink his teeth in...!!! :dh: He was a semi wild farm cat, but became a very loving friendly cat after he lost his nads.. Was the boss of the house & always kept the dogs in their place... 2nd!!!! As he was first..!!:hehe:
Look forward to your pics Vicky & I am sure she will settle in fine...:thmb:

:) Thank you jj and Marley. We too have lost many and we already have three buried here ... We only ever get moggies or abandoned ones ... makes us have that feel good factor ... :yez:

Well, Chere sleeps a lot ... but then again she's only 4 1/2 weeks old ... but here's a sneaky peaky in her chair she has already 'baggied' (Sis gave me the cat cushion years ago as we had the white two) ...

... and t'other half with the new love of his life in his office where she will live with him for a while ... doesn't he look happy and content? ....

As t'other is up into the wee hours but then sleeps late, I sat and played with her for 45 minutes this morning ... and she ate, pooed, played with one of her noisy toys, galloped around the room, chewed on my toes then up on my lap and tried the same with my boob along with the pummelling  and then fell asleep. :hehe:

Sorry, but I'll bore you with more pics as she grows up ... :D k-l

PS T'other half calls her Shere ... but he was a boy so I call her Chere ... we always agree to disagree ....:hehe:

Oh, thank you again Gogs and Marley. k-l

She purrs like nobody's business. :D She's also very good about washing herself. :gnthb:

Do you think she will grow into her ears? :hehe:

She's strangely marked ... these wonderful 'paintings' on her face, sort of stripey and splodges in places and spots on her belly. :cnfs:

The last photo is fab. She'll have your OH wrapped around her paw very soon (if she hasn't already).

    Kittens are really so cute.
